Brief History of Our Attorneys
Bill Cannon practiced law in Georgia for 25 years, serving as President of the State Bar of Georgia and developing a reputation for handling complex cases. He left Georgia to accept a position with a nonprofit organization located at Lake Junaluska, where he served until accepting a position with a Waynesville law firm in 2004. Bill established Cannon Law, P.C. on August 1, 2011.
In October 2011, Mike McConnell joined the firm. Mike has a great deal of experience in contracting and litigation in Cherokee Tribal Court and has served as Attorney General for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
