We are proud of the fact that a significant portion of our business originates from referrals from other attorneys. We consider it a privilege to assist you by providing excellent service to your clients in whatever capacity you choose—as lead counsel or co-counsel. We are pleased to discuss a potential referral at a time convenient to you and, when practical, can meet with you and your clients at your office.
We recognize that attorneys vary in the degree to which they wish to be involved in the matter being referred to us. Some lawyers desire to have little or no involvement in a matter and are simply looking for a firm to take good care of their clients. Others wish to be lead counsel with our attorneys serving as local counsel while some attorneys prefer that we serve as lead counsel or as co-counsel on with in depth involvement at all stages.
Bill Cannon has established relationships with other attorneys in North Carolina and other states. Perhaps the best evidence of our value is the fact that many of our local lawyers refer clients to us with the confidence that their clients will be pleased with our representation and will return to them for future legal services.
Cannon Law, P.C. has no history of disputes with referring attorneys and we are flexible in our fee agreements so that the referring attorneys and their clients are treated fairly. We comply with the Rules of Professional Conduct in our referral relationships and always enter into written agreements with the mutual clients and referring lawyers as required by the Rules.
