Bill Cannon just completed a trial in Haywood Superior Court representing a landlord in a commercial lease. A tenant sued the landlord and another tenant, claiming that an odor interfered with the operation of that tenant’s restaurant. At the conclusion of the plaintiff’s case, Bill moved for a directed verdict in favor of the landlord and the judge granted the motion. The landlord was dismissed from the suit.
